How to make Grandma's Danish meatballs

I guess (and hope) you’ve learned why the book was named for a great secret recipe. I also guess that you might be hungry! Therefore I will share my Grandma’s secret meatball recipe.

For 8 Meatballs

8 ounces or 250 grams of minced veal and pork
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup whole milk
salt and pepper, to taste

Optional seasonings:
3 Tbs. fresh parsley, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed

In a bowl, mix all ingredients well. Form into 8 meatballs. Fry in salted butter, until golden brown and delicious.

“Velbekomme!” translates into “may this taste good to you”/ bon appetite!
